Lingnan University invites applications for Direct (Non-JUPAS) Admission to undergraduate programmes 2015-16

Lingnan University now invites applications for Direct (Non-JUPAS) Admission to its undergraduate programmes for the 2015-16 academic year.

True to its identity as a liberal arts institution, Lingnan offers undergraduate programmes in three broad academic disciplines (viz. arts, business and social sciences) including programmes in Chinese, Contemporary English Studies, Cultural Studies, History, Philosophy, Translation, Visual Studies, Business Administration and Social Sciences.


Applicants who seek admission on the basis of qualifications other than Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) examination results or Joint Entrance Examination for Universities in PRC examination results of the current year should apply directly to the University. Details are as follows:

  • Apply to the University directly from today to 16 March 2015 through our Online Application System. Applicants can apply for a maximum of three choices of study programmes in ONE application account.

     

  • Sub-degree graduates/final year students (with programme duration of at least two years) will be eligible for admission to senior year places (i.e. Year 3 of the 4-year curriculum). Applicants holding other academic qualifications will be eligible for admission to Year 1 of the 4-year curriculum.   • Non-local applicants (other than Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland citizens) are eligible to apply for the Non-local Student Scholarships. Full Scholarship (covering tuition, hostel and partial academic and living expenses), Tuition Scholarship or Half-tuition Scholarship per academic year will be awarded to successful candidates.
