Postgraduate Studies Seminar: Analyzing National Data Sets

Dr Qian Jiwei, Research Fellow, East Asian Institute at National University of Singapore, was invited to Lingnan University to share his research experience on “Analyzing National Data Sets” on 17 and 18 March. In the seminars, Dr Qian discussed how to conduct policy evaluation research based on survey data, discussing with postgraduate students how to find anomalies using yearbook data.
 
Dr Qian’s seminars attracted the audience from Lingnan faculty members and students, and lively discussions on several methodology issues were held after Dr Qian’s talks. The seminars were part of the Postgraduate Studies Seminar Series organised by the Division of Graduate Studies.
