Prof. Ruby Lai obtained her Ph.D. from the Department of Sociology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She joined Lingnan University in August 2019. Her research interests revolve around gender, family, reproductive politics, and ethnicity. She teaches Hong Kong Society and Asia Pacific Comparative Development and Policy Symposium.
