Lingnan University receives generous donation from CITIC Pacific to establish scholarships

Lingnan University received a generous donation of HK$1 million from CITIC Pacific Limited to establish the “CITIC Pacific Faculty of Business Scholarships” and “CITIC Pacific Overseas Exchange Scholarships” respectively from 2016/17 to 2020/21. The former scholarships are established to award students with outstanding academic performance from the Faculty of Business while the latter helps students with financial difficulties to join overseas exchange programmes.

A delegation of CITIC Pacific including Mr Zhang Jijing, Chairman and President, Mr Steve Kwok, Executive Vice President, Mr Kenny Yu, Assistant Director of HR and Administration and Ms Shirley Fong, Manager of HR Services visited Lingnan University today (14 September) and talked to students and learned about the latest development of the University.  The delegation was warmly received by President Leonard K Cheng, Mr Michael Ngai, Council Member and Chairman of Institutional Advancement Committee, Prof Liu Liming, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Prof Lin Ping, Head of Department of Economics, Mr Matthew Mo, Director of Institutional Advancement and Alumni Affairs, and Ms Jessie Law, Assistant Director, Institutional Advancement. ​
