OLADOSU Ayomide Oluwaseyi, an IMCSP graduate from AY2019/20, recently published a part of his IMCSP capstone project on ScienceDirect

We are glad to share the good news that OLADOSU Ayomide Oluwaseyi, an IMCSP graduate from AY2019/20, recently published a part of his IMCSP capstone project in the article "Effect of Public Health Expenditure on Health Outcomes in Nigreia and Ghana" on ScienceDirect.

“This study is a comparative study that looks at the impact of public health spending on health outcomes in Nigeria and Ghana. The findings of this study revealed that public health expenditures in Nigeria and Ghana were inadequate, resulting in poor health outcomes in both countries. The empirical data from this study emphasizes the necessity to increase public health spending in order to improve health outcomes while accounting for the considerable effect of GDP, school enrollment, and urbanization. One important contribution of this study is the reconceptualization of health outcomes by incorporating Malaria and HIV/AIDS mortality as health outcome indicators, which have been disregarded in earlier studies over time.”
